Shauna is a psychotherapist, teacher, artist, and explorer of the collective unconscious.

Shauna's fascination with dreams began in childhood. Both enchanted and haunted by vivid dreams and nightmares, she learned early on that imagination could transform fear into something meaningful. Although it was not always clear that this was the direction she was headed, she has always made special note of her dreams and imaginal life, as they have long served as sources of inspiration, guidance, and comfort.

Shauna began her journey into the field by obtaining an AA in Psychology and later completed her BA in Psychology at the University of Central Oklahoma, after a short detour as a licensed cosmetologist. She eventually earned her MA in Counseling Psychology from Southern Nazarene University. Her creative spirit is always on the lookout for outlets through which the contents of the psyche might emerge, so it should come as no surprise that she gravitates toward psychotherapy methods that make use of imagination, creativity, and embodied experience.

In 2018, Shauna began her formal exploration of dreams through a therapeutic lens, an experience that has been followed by years of intensive study, personal dreamwork, and Jungian analysis. Throughout this process, she has often listened to the whispers of psyche as a guide for her own unfolding. She is currently a Training Candidate at the C. G. Jung Institute of Colorado, where she continues to deepen her study of Jungian psychology and her relationship with dreams, symbols, and the unfolding life of the psyche.

Because this work has been such a rich and transformative experience in her own life, Shauna is passionate about helping others discover their own path through the unconscious. She delights in accompanying individuals as they uncover their unique relationship to dreams, symbols, and the liminal and numinous images that emerge from the depths of psyche. Whether through psychotherapy, dreamwork, teaching, or supervision, she remains committed to fostering spaces where curiosity, imagination, and transformation can unfold.

A thoughtful, depth-oriented sanctuary where dreams, symbols, and the unconscious are welcomed as companions in the journey toward healing and wholeness.

Through my own therapy, dreamwork, and years of sitting with others in their suffering, I have come to believe that healing occurs when we move closer to ourselves. It is tempting to focus solely on stopping something that is bothering us or interrupting the way we are engaging with our lives. I have found that symptoms often carry meaning and can help us discover what is no longer serving us.

As we engage symptoms, dreams, and the meanings our suffering might carry with deep curiosity, we are often transformed through the process of witnessing ourselves without judgment. Each of us possesses a deep inner wisdom that deserves to be honored and taken seriously.

For me, therapy is a collaborative process rooted in a relationship that is therapeutic, sacred, and necessary. We often find ourselves unable to see the truth of the patterns holding us back or keeping us stuck in places we no longer wish to remain. It is through the therapeutic relationship with a trusted guide that we are able to encounter the shadow, recover what was once lost, forgotten, or abandoned, and transform that which no longer serves us.

It is through a deep reverence for our inner lives that we are ultimately set free.
